Introduction to Data Structures

Information Structure is a method for gathering and arranging information such that we can perform operations on these information in a viable way. Information Structures is tied in with rendering information components as far as some relationship, for better association and capacity. For instance, we have information player’s name “Virat” and age 26. Here “Virat” is of String information sort and 26 is of number information sort.

We can arrange this information as a record like Player record. Presently we can gather and store player’s records in a document or database as an information structure. For instance: “Dhoni” 30, “Gambhir” 31, “Sehwag” 33

In basic dialect, Data Structures will be structures customized to store requested information, with the goal that different operations can be performed on it effortlessly. It speaks to the learning of information to be sorted out in memory. It ought to be outlined and actualized such that it lessens the multifaceted nature and builds the effieciency.

Basic types of Data Structures

As we have examined above, anything that can store information can be called as an information structure, thus Integer, Float, Boolean, Char and so on, all are information structures. They are known as Primitive Data Structures.

At that point we likewise have some intricate Data Structures, which are utilized to store extensive and associated information. Some case of Abstract Data Structure are :

Stack, Queue and so forth.

Every one of these information structures enable us to perform distinctive operations on information. We select these information structures in view of which kind of operation is required. We will investigate these information structures in more points of interest in our later lessons. Introduction to Data Structures
